INTRODUCTION

PROJECT 2 - The Troublemakers Manifesto Colloquium (collateral)

After getting my key artwork done, i started to design my collateral. As i thought we can separate the key artwork and made it into our own logo, i do many designs of it.

Fig 1.4 Cap

However, we were not allowed to separate it, so i try it again. I found it was very tough as we need to design our collateral but cannot break the key artwork. These are the poster and collateral that i design after feedback

My third poster was approved and also the second bag but the t-shirt need to redo cause everything needs to be quite similar so it will look consistent. And here is the final outcome of my design

This project also connects to Interactive project 2, we have to use the same theme to create a microsite.

FEEDBACK

Week 8 (14.10.19)
online feedback:
Please understand that you can’t break up your key artwork position indiscriminately as you wish. You need to maintain to a certain degree it’s arrangement.

Week 9 (21.10.19)

Mr Vinod said that the idea is not there, and it doesn't work.He help me on my keyartwork, and i create the "old tv effect" on it, and he say ok.

For the poster it looks fine, the tote bag also while the design of the t-shirt can be similar with the tote bag cause all the item need to be consisdent.

REFLECTION

Experience

Week 8(14.10.19)
I am enjoying designing the collateral because i used to dream to become a fashion designer, i thought i won't touch something like this when i choose to study in Creative Media, it was a very good experience to me.

Week 9(21.10.19)
To design the collateral, i learn that i need to think that "would i buy this"? when i was designing the shirt or the bag.

Observation

Week 8(14.10.19)
I finally get my key artwork approved and i felt that graphic design is not my cup of tea, but i still interested in design logo and package.

Week 9(21.10.19)
I realize that it was already week 9! Time fly! This semester pass very fast and the works are getting heavier.

Finding

Week 8(14.10.19)
I find that after getting the key artwork done, others is more easier to finish.

Week 9(21.10.19)
The final project is coming! Feel stress and blank in my mind when Mr Vinod brief about the final project, don't know where to start and hope my ideas get approved.
