Week 1 (04.04.19)

Mr Hafiz began the class with a briefing of the module and introduce Illustrator for us. He taught us the basic skill and tools in Illustrator. After that, he gave us the first exercise which is " Vormator Challenge" 

Firstly, he taught us how to trace the shape out and he want us to create our own character with the shapes given only and only 3 colors can be used

This is my first try on creating the character with the shapes. It is a smiling devil but she has a kind heart

After that I want it to be scarier so i change my idea again

I come out an idea about the Halloween pumpkin and i want it to combine with the scarecrow so i start to create the character by the specific shapes

As we only can use 3 colors so these are the color that i chose for my vormator.

I choose this as my final color, it looks like tomato plus pumpkin. I like to eat tomato tho.

After that, Mr Hafiz required us to add shadow on our vormator character,and this is the outcome.

 Week 5 ( 02.05.19)

This week, we visit Fabspace at Lot 10 in KL. The store provide different types of printing services including laser printing, UV printing on acrylic and others. Mr Hafiz introduce about the store and also told us that we need to print out vormator character here.

They give us student price which cost about RM30, i choose laser cutting and it come out well.
