INTRODUCTION
FINAL PROJECT:Typography-- Expression,Hierarchy and Composition
14.06.19 - 28.06.19 ( Week 11 - Week 13)
After the lecture by Mr. Shamsul, we were given a brief for the final project. We need to choose a sentence or quote which can be applied in our daily life such as social messages, awareness and so on.
First, I choose the quote " Stop pollution is the best solution" and I drew out some sketches.
I found that the headline is hard to express, so i decide to change the headline to " Stop pollution" and these are the sketches of it.Mr.Vinod suggests that the "o" can be a stop button.
Next, base on the sketches I put it in Illustrator and these were the outcome.
For the first one, Mr. Vinod said the texture is nice but there are lots of things going there I should choose one specific pollution only so I choose water pollution. "Stop water pollution" is my final chosen headline.
I had no idea of how to express it and these were my first try on "Stop Water Pollution".
I try out many things but all of them is too graphical so i decide to try again.
Finally, Mr. Vinod accepted the Fig2.1 (left side) design, but Mr Vinod said the color is dull so I change it again.
Firstly, I thought we can use black + 2 color but actually is black + white + 1 color so I change the color again.
Next, we were required to animate our artwork. I decided to make the words "water pollution" slowly changing color from white to black and grey to show how the clean water getting pollute currently.
Next, I tried to make it looks like clicking the stop button to stop the pollution so this is the outcome
FEEDBACK
14.06.19 ( Week 11 )
For the sketch, Mr. Vinod said I need to figure it out and try out something else. He also gave me an idea to make the "o" into the stop button.
21.06.19 ( Week 12 )
Mr. Vinod said I should only choose one particular pollution and there are too many things going on. After that, he asked me to add some splash below using the word "water pollution".
23.06.19
Mr. Vinod said I can insert drops in the bowl of the P and S, over-reliant on the bottle graphic to convey the message.
25.06.19
Mr. Vinod said The work has become to graphical the message must come through typographically. The text behind the left artwork is too big. Please refer and compare your work with the examples I uploaded to the Facebook group. Learn to compare, evaluate, analyze and understand. Take that understanding and apply it in your own artwork.

Static vs Motion:
- Static: Minimal characteristic in expressing words the traditional characteristics such as bold and italic offer only a fraction of the expressive potential of dynamic properties.
- Motion: Temporal media offer typographers opportunities to “dramatize” type, for letterforms to become “fluid” and “kinetic”

The Printer Material Must Be Clear:
For the printed material to be visually interesting and readable, it needs to be clear. Avoid using more than three fonts in the same poster. If many fonts are practiced, the result is a combination that baffles the readers. Do not use cutesy, flowery fonts except there is a really good reason for that. Simplistic fonts are regularly your greatest choice.- Starting and Kerning:
The white space within the lines of writing additionally should be considered which as known as ledding, if lines that are pressed too tight mutually are hard for reading.Next, If you put too much white space on the lines will likewise change negatively the readability. - Adjustment:
Lining up important details is one of the extremely important features of the design.
In case that your text is not adjusted, have it remain a purposive selection made for a certain reason.
Produce a method and unite with it. One step to doing this is to utilize a baseline framework. Designers usually utilize frameworks for graphic design, and they may be especially useful while designing a typographic poster. - Hierarchy and Repetition in typography posters: When you determine how to adjust details on your page, utilize the idea of repetition as to produce a hierarchal scheme. To achieve this, be sure every textual detail is operated identically in every situation
